PlugMe.Net Update - Friday 6th January 2012
As you may be aware, PlugMe.Net has unfortunately been down for a period of time recently.
Firstly, we would like to appologize for the inconvenience caused to all our users.
To cut a long story short, our previous host (the company who we hired the server from) completely vanished off the internet. Our website, the server and all our backups were lost without any notice. After many attempts to contact the company, the people who worked for the company and even the datacentre, we were unable to get any kind of answer or backups.
What's happening now?
PlugMe.Net is back! Unfortunately, a few accounts and recent plugs have been lost. We have been working hard to bring back the website and we are now well and truely on the road to recovery. Much of the programming has been rewritten for compatibility with the new server and while we were at it, we've started work on a few new features too!
If your plugboard no longer exists, please re-register on our website just the same way as you did before. We sincerely appologize for the inconvenience. The good news is, it still only takes a few seconds to register and if the code is still on your webiste, registering with the same username means you're already half way there!*
* You don't need to update the code on your website if you use the same username as you used before.
If you upgraded your account before PlugMe.Net went offline, we are manually upgrading your accounts for one year from today and you should have already received a full refund along with an appology via Email. Yes that's correct, you'll get your upgrade AND a full refund.
We are taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again.
